A 21-year-old Walton man was arrested on suspicion of possession to supply class B drugs on Wednesday January 20.
Firefighters were called to a house in Field Common Lane, on Friday, January 1, to put out a chimney fire.
One appliance from Walton fire station attended the scene and spent an hour and a half putting out the fire, which had gotten out of control.
The firefighters arrived at around 5.30pm, and had to take what was left of the fire at the bottom of the chimney outside and extinguish it.
A 40 year old man, who was arrested in connection with the Milly Dowler murder case in October, has been released without charge.
Nirmal Gharu, from West London, was questioned by police about a red Daewoo Nexia car which officers believe could have been used to transport the 13 year old's body when she disappeared from Walton in March 2001.
Mr Gharu was released on bail, which the police have now confirmed has been cancelled with no further charges to be brought.
He was held on suspicion of assisting an offender.
In the early hours of Christmas Eve, a 79 year old man was woken by the noise of a wannabe thief breaking into his home in Rodney Road.
The man heard banging on his front door at around 2am on Thursday, December 24 and upon discovery found that his front door was open, his lock broken and his back door had been damaged.
He also saw a young man running away from the house.
Police carried out door to door enquiries and are still investigating.
Fortunately, nothing had been taken but police are appealing for witnesses and are urging anyone with information to contact them on 0846
A man who was found and pulled from the River Thames in Walton on Monday December 28 has been identified as Anthony Heffernan.
A 37-YEAR-old man and an 11-year-old boy were arrested in Walton High Street on Christmas Eve after receiving reports of a theft at a florist.
A police officer based at Esher Police Station, in Portsmouth Road, was charged with one count of theft of found property on Wednesday December 23.
It is believed PC Julian Lovegrove, 32, took £75 which was property handed in to the police station.
He has been suspended from duty and bailed to appear at Aldershot Magistrates Court on February 4.

Levi Bellfield, the prime suspect in the Milly Dowler murder case could be charged before the end of the year, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)has revealed.
Convicted serial killer Bellfield was living in Walton at the time of the 13 year old's disappearance in 2002 when she walking home from Walton train station.
Police submitted a dossier filled with thousands of pages of documents and circumstantial evidence against Bellfield to the CPS in August.
They have now revealed that a decision on whether he will be prosecuted should be made before the year is out.
Police are investigating a string of robberies which took place in Walton over the weekend which they believe to be related.
The first attack, which left a 15 year old with minor injuries, took place between midnight and 12.30am on Friday, December 11.
Three suspects approached two male victims after getting out of a black cab in Molesey Road and tried to steal a bag.
The two victims tried to flee the ensuing trouble, but the three men gave chase.
A man carrying a knife stole £40 from the Co-op in Walton on Sunday (29) evening before fleeing the scene in a BMW.
Just after 8pm, the suspect entered the shop in Terrace Road, and purchased a cheap item so that the till would be opened.
Once open, the man reached over the counter and grabbed £40 in cash from the till before fleeing the scene.
