Boys as young as 12 were arrested for stealing bicycles from Walton train station on Friday night.
The three boys, aged between 11 and 12 and all from Walton were arrested at 8pm, and later bailed for a string of 20 bike thefts from the area around Walton train station.
A youth football team which was saved from certain downfall had their new ground opened on Saturday September 20.
Hurst Park Juniors were given four pitches, goal posts, and flags by Apps Court Farm owner Stuart Macgregor for the three under 10 teams to play and train on.

Hospital Radio Wey's presenter John Charman presents his 1000th programme on Sunday 21st September at the North Surrey Radio Station's studios at St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey. John has been presenting The Big Band Hour, every Sunday from 2-4pm and has charmed listeners with his authoritative and entertaining style.
John joined Radio Wey on 17th May 1972 and retired 19 years ago after a fascinating career, including 20 years as a pilot instructor in the RAF. He now spends time indulging his passion to Big Band and British Dance music. He enjoys swing, dance and big band music and helps run the West Surrey Big Band Society, which has developed a reputation as the best in the UK and has taken him all over the country.

An enhanced bin collections service one of the most advanced and comprehensive delivered anywhere in the country is planned for Elmbridge.
A TASTE Of Italy returns to Walton during the first weekend in October as the Italian Market comes to town.
It's that time of year again when poppys go on-sale and this year volunteers are needed to help with collections in Walton.
The national and Surrey launch of the 2008 Poppy Appeal takes place in October 25 and will last until November 8.
Elmbridge Healthy Walks celebrated its fifth anniversary on Monday Septmember 15 with a walk along the Thames tow path from Xcel Leisure Centre in Walton.
The group which has seen 30 volunteers leading around six walks a week have been so successful that after totalling up the miles walked they found it was the equivalent to walking from London to Sydney, in Australia, and back again - a total of 43,000 miles.
This feathered shoplifter helped himself to a free meal after discovering the bird food aisle at Garsons Farm in Esher.
The cheeky sparrow was snapped pecking a bag by Margaret Edmonds, of Milton Road, Walton, who was at the shop in Winterdown Road on September 13 to buy bird feed.

The regulator OFCOM have granted the hard working volunteers of Hospital Radio Wey an FM channel to broadcast their superb variety of music & local information programmes. The Restricted Service Licence is the latest step taken by this fast growing radio station towards a full Community Radio Licence. Children aged eight to 12 are need to play munkins in a stage production of The Wizard of Oz.
Elmbridge Youth Theatre is staging the show - it's 34th production - at The Playhouse in Walton in January, and also wants to recruit young people aged 15 to 25.
